APS5 Procurement and Travel Officer
About the role:
My client is seeking an APS5 Procurement and Travel Officer. This position is available as an s26 transfer (temporary) or a non-ongoing engagement for an initial term of 12 months.
As the Procurement and Travel Officer you will manage all aspects of the Organisation’s vehicle fleet and be the first point of contact for queries regarding the fleet. You will collate data in relation to the Organisation’s annual FBT reporting and undertake quarterly and annual reporting.
About You:
You are a dynamic and skilled Procurement and Travel Officer with a strong background in procurement administration and reporting. Experience with managing a vehicle fleet is highly desirable. You will have a demonstrated ability to work independently as well as within a team environment. You will have effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Ideally, you’ll have previous experience working with TechOne, CommBiz and Corporate Travel Management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the vehicle fleet including the collation of driver log data and provide assistance and support to staff in relation to all leased vehicle matters. Be the first contact point for fleet queries and provide advice and support to the hostel network on all leased vehicle matters.
- Review, update and maintain on at least an annual basis, the Fleet Policy and Procedures.
- Review, investigate and report on open purchase orders monthly
- Assist with travel bookings, purchasing cards and contract register.
- Assist with administrative procurement tasks such as coordinating the issuing of RFQ’s to suppliers and compiling responses, coordinating supplier RFQ queries and liaising with business areas for responses.
Ideally, you’ll have previous experience working with TechOne, CommBiz and Corporate Travel Management.
