  • 6 months contract, with possible extension

The Organisation:

This Government body works with people with disability, providers, and the community to deliver nationally consistent, responsive, and effective regulation of service providers. They seek to uphold the rights of, and promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of people with disability receiving supports or services.

The Role:
 
The APS5 Finance Officer will have a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders and will be required to communicate with and provide advice on a range of matters to resolve moderately complex to complex enquiries.
 
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Reconcile supplier invoices and check data accuracy
  • Process supplier invoices and resolve disputes
  • Assist with asset management and costing proposals
  • Draft business cases, reports, and other documents
  • Provide financial advice to improve operations
  • Monitor business performance and report on KPIs
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
  • Assist with SAP FI system tasks and support users
 The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Ability to reconcile invoices and manage financial data
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Experience in SAP Accounts Payable and SAP Essentials
  • Knowledge of Government procurement and goods receipting
  • Experience with shared services providers
