As an APS4 Scheme Debt Finance Officer, you'll be a key contributor in managing Scheme debt, supporting compliance, and ensuring financial obligations are met. Working within established frameworks, you'll provide operational and administrative support, conduct research and analysis, and have a high level of interaction with internal and external stakeholders.

Working within established frameworks, you'll provide operational and administrative support, conduct research and analysis, and have a high level of interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the Scheme debt register, overseeing system-cancelled and unrecovered debts.
- Support debt recovery processes in accordance with Scheme Debt Management Policy, including coordinating with other teams, providers, and participants on payment arrangements, debt write-offs, and waivers.
- Prepare invoices, manage payment cancellations, and maintain accurate records.
- Contribute to developing Standard Operating Procedures and process mapping for the team.
- Extract, analyse, and report data from SAP/PSCD and other systems to support management reporting.
- Address inquiries regarding pending payments and bank account issues.
- Support project initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders across teams.
To thrive in this role, you need:
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in financial systems, particularly SAP/PSCD, is desirable.
- Ability to work within established frameworks and policies.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively across teams.
- Prior experience in debt management or finance support roles is a plus.
- Be able to pass and hold a national police check and worker screening check.
- Must be an Australian Citizen.
