Job description

We are seeking an experience Workforce Strategy Manager to work with our client, a State Government Authority, in their Brisbane CBD office. 

This AO7 contract role will go through till mid-January 2025, with the possibility of extension.

The purpose of this role is to work collaboratively with the Senior Manager People and Culture to deliver contemporary, innovative and responsive people and culture solutions.

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of projects, process improvements, workforce capability, strategic planning, equity and diversity planning and operational workforce management
  • Provide change management advice and support o complex change and transformation activities
  • Lead the design, development and delivery or training programs
  • Undertake organisational and functional reviews
  • Deliver against strategic and operational plans and projects
  • Research and prepare briefs, reports and ministerial submissions and proposals
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
About you:
  • Demonstrated high level interpersonal and influencing skills, including the ability to liaise and negotiate with executives, management, staff and external stakeholders
  • Managing time and priorities effectively
  • Strong written communication skills for utilisation in high level business submissions
  • Proven ability to develop business critical policies which align to organisational strategies
  • Excellent project management skills
  • The ability to investigate, analyse and resolve problems whilst developing solutions to improve service delivery
  • Contribute positively to a team environment.
Queensland State Government experience is highly sought after in this role.
