Job description

Our valued State Government client is seeking a temporary AO5 Project Officer (Maintenance) to join their Brisbane Team.


As the Project Officer, your duties will include but will not be limited to:
  • Provide recommendations for maintenance and upgrade works on a residential portfolio,
  • Achieve value for money through a sound understanding of maintenance and upgrades,
  • deliver maintenance and upgrade programs to agreed timeframes, budget, quality standards and client satisfaction,
  • Ensure properties are maintained to a consistent standard taking into consideration GEH specifications, Australian standards and statutory requirements,
  • manage property and program expenditure including monitoring, reviewing and reporting on the financial performance of projects and programs,
  • Have a sound working knowledge of Excel and being efficient in managing, sorting and analysing data by using (but not limited to) pivot tables, lookups and charts,
  • Analyse the differences between quotes and GEH specifications,
  • contribute to the development of responses to correspondence, briefings, reports and information papers,
  • Contribute to the development and review of key policies, guidelines and processes to ensure best practice portfolio asset management is delivered,
  • Establish and maintain effective networks of key departmental contacts and with industry representatives,
  • Contribute actively as a member of GEH’s Asset Management Team.

To be successful in this role, you will be expected to:
  • Have previous experience in the same capacity

  • Set priorities and organises self to meet deadlines and can report on progress and any potential delays or issues which may impact on others.

In return this tole offers an hourly rate of $66.86 + Super, a start date of 17 March 2025 until 30 June 2025 and a possibility on an extension.
