Job description

Our valued State Government client is looking for AO4 Project Contract Administration Officer to join their busy team. The primary purpose of the role is to provide and coordinate a variety of project and contract administration support services to the project management team, including understanding and adhering to the contract administration procedures to support Project Managers to deliver projects.

As the Project Contract Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
  • Ensuring adherence to all contracts administration procedures including assisting Project Managers in resolving aged debts.
  • Effectively communicate and build relationships with key stakeholders including project managers, program managers, client managers, clients, and other internal business units.
  • Provide project administration support to Project Managers including project creation, assisting in management of budgets, billing, accounts payable, reporting and in proactively identifying and rectifying errors.
  • Organising meetings and setting agendas.
  • Process key information utilising systems such as Ellipse, QContracts and contracts administration software.
  • Monitor the systems data quality through, regular variance analysis reporting, identifying, and resolving issues and implementing changes to minimise errors and data exceptions.
  • Reporting on the project’s progress, budgets, and resources
  • General quality assurance activities
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, Post Graduate experience 1-5 years (Working for smaller tier 2-3 builder)
  • Positive attitude /motivated
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Ability to handle conflicting deadlines.
  • Ability to use multiple systems.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
This role offers a pay rate of $54.34 + Super, an initial 3-month engagement with a possibility of an extension and an opportunity work on exciting projects!
