Our State Government partner is looking for an AO4 Leasing Coordinator join their Brisbane team. This key role will provide support to leasing team to plan and migrate to an electronic record keeping system.

Please note that this position will initially be fully office-based for the first three months. After this period, remote work arrangements can be negotiated if the role is extended.

As the Leasing Coordinator, your duties will include but will not be limited to:
- Assist a leasing team to plan and deliver the supply of leased assets within the State Government’s property portfolio.
- Provide lease management advice concerning commercial leasing for the State Government’s office property portfolio.
- Support the delivery of executive or sensitive leasing projects and the provision of office accommodation for the Department.
- Provide support to the updating of streamlined lease management, and tenancy and financial management systems.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
- Assist with the implementation of the leased component of whole-of-Government accommodation strategies.
- Provide support with the development of policies, guidelines and systems for best practice office accommodation leasing use and implementation within areas of geographic and/or functional responsibility.
- Provide timely support and assistance with research into advice on marketplace conditions and industry trends
- Assist with the preparation of executive correspondence and briefing notes.
To excel in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience in lease management and property portfolio oversight.
- Knowledge of commercial leasing practices, policies, and current market trends.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for delivering clear leasing advice and preparing professional correspondence and briefing notes.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in lease agreements, policies, financial reports, and system updates.
- A collaborative approach, working effectively with the leasing team, stakeholders, and government departments.
- Analytical skills to gather and interpret data on market conditions and industry trends, supporting informed decision-making.
- The ability to support and implement government accommodation strategies while managing sensitive projects with professionalism.
