Job description

Our valued State Government client is looking an AO4 Business Assurance Officer to join their team in busy team in Chermside.


As the Business Assurance Officer, your responsibilities will include:
  • Effectively monitor and manage internal and external correspondence, incoming and outgoing telephone calls and ensure responses are provided within required time frames.
  • Facilitation of the on-going development, improvement, and implementation of enhancements to policies, processes and procedures
  • Assist in the advancing of the internal business assurance through undertaking the assessment of process conformance, performance management, reliability of management reporting and effectiveness of key controls.
  • Maintain the compliance software QPulse and manage the licensing, distribution and maintenance.
  • Provide advice and guidance concerning all facets of quality management implementation and operation.
  • Manage the compliments/complaints management process
  • Promote better operational practices through effective communication formats (e.g. newsletter).
  • Provide monthly reporting to management and facilitate meetings to provide guidance on complaints management process.
  • Conduct complex complaints investigations with clients and members of the public as requested by senior management. 

To be considered for this role, you will have:
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Proven ability to understand the relationship between the business systems, the end user operations and the interacting processes and procedures and ensure the delivery of high-quality business assurance activities.
  • Proven ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of a range of systems and processes and have proven ability to present relevant business improvement solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain relationships
  • Experience in providing accurate business assurance activities and taking personal responsibility for the delivery in a timely manner.
  • Possesses high level and advanced written communication
 
This role offers an hourly rate of $54.34 + Super, an immediate start until 24/12/24 with a possibility of an extension and an opportunity to work with a collaborative team!
