Ad – AO3 Finance Administrator
 
Our client, a State Government Department in the financial services sector, is looking for an AO3 Finance Administrator to work within their Investment Services and Finance team.
 
This is an exciting opportunity to elevate your career to the next level and work with an organization which administers one of the largest lodgment programs in the country, overseeing the taxation affairs of more than 16,000 taxpayers.
 
About the role
This opportunity exists within the Taxation Unit, whose primary role is to provide taxation and business services to both core operations and external customers of the department.
 
Your specific role will be to prepare income tax returns and other statutory compliance documents, and to assist in the provision of timely and appropriate business support and advice to customers in the area of financial and taxation accounting services.
 
Your key responsibilities include:
 
  • Preparation of income tax returns to review stage.
  • Assisting in the provision of sound and accurate advice in the area of financial and taxation accounting services.
  • Use of information systems to provide service and advice to stakeholders.
  • Assisting with the audit, review, investigation, and appraisal of systems and program evaluation.
  • Other duties as required.
 
About You
To be considered for this role you must have:
  • Proven experience in completing tax assessments working ideally in an accounting or tax firm
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • The ability to complete a National Police Check
