Our government client is looking for a Business Support Officer to join their team in Rockhampton for an immediate start until 30 June 2025 with a possibility of an extension. This key role will see you provide high level administration support to the team.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Office Reception coverage, includes but not limited to managing incoming and outgoing mail and packages, phone call
- Fleet administration
- Vehicle bookings using UMS
- Checking logbooks and fuel invoices for discrepancies
- Entering odometer readings
- Tracking vehicle applications
- Recording of paper files using Content Manager database
- Perform spare computer updates
- Perform ad-hoc administrative duties
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures
To be considered for the role, you will have:
- Proven experience in accounts payable – including coding of invoices using a chart of accounts and appropriate job numbers.
- Analytical ability to perform research.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Time management skills with the ability to prioritise work.
- Ability to multi-task
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral, and the competence to work as part of a team.
