Job description

We are seeking an administrator with experience in events coordination and finance, to work with our State Government client in Ipswich.

This full time contract role will start ASAP, and go through till the end of 2024, with the possibility of an extension.
The ideal candidate for this role is a results-driven administrator with experience in finance and events organisation.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing administrative and business support to the Team with tasks such as managing the office’s shared mailbox, preparing correspondence, data entry, diary management, travel bookings, and other administration related tasks
  • Engaging with a range of stakeholders, representing the division and executive in a helpful, professional, and respectful manner
  • Basic finance including end of day shut down procedures
  • Assisting with the organisation of events
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Experience in an administration role
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills plus a can do attitude
  • High-level written and oral communication skills
  • Strong computer skills including intermediate – advanced Microsoft Office
  • Commitment to the end of the assignment
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new systems
