  • Hybrid Working – Required to attend Newcastle office 1 day per week
  • Initial 6-Month contract with likely possibility of extension
  • $300 per day ($37.50 per hour + super)
 
Our NSW State Government client is an integral part of the NSW transport system that works together to deliver services to the community of NSW. They are currently seeking a Regional Administrative Support Officer for initial 6- month contract with the possibility of extension in the Newcastle/Hunter/Central Coast/Port Stevens regions of NSW.
 
The Role:
The Administrative Support Officer will support Director of Regional Community Partnering in delivering core Management Accounting Functions of accurate and timely reporting, promoting, and maintaining strong internal governance processes and diary management.

The role will focus on:
  • Supporting the Director of Regional Community Partnering
  • Diary management is a MUST
  • May have to step in and help the EA to the Regional Director
  • Based in the Hunter Newcastle region, or Central coast, Port Stevens area
 
About You:
You will present as an effective communicator and active listener, with a high level of organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.  In addition, you will demonstrate the following skills and experience:


  • Someone who is self-sufficient but can also work in a team
  • Someone who’s had at least 5 years’ experience in Administration or PA
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Skilled in MS Office, Teams, Word, and Excel
