Job description

Job Title: Settlements and Administrative Officer
Employer: DFP Recruitment Client
Employment Type: 4 month Full Time Casual Temporary Contract
Location: Perth CBD, Western Australia
Pay Rate: $40 + (per hour) + Super
*This is an on-site role. Applicants must be based in Perth, Western Australia.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out general administrative and financial duties for the branch such as payment requests, filing, maintaining records of activities and transactions, and lodging and collecting documents
  • Checking the day’s settlements and registrations and ensuring all dealings are recorded
  • Attending settlements and registrations
  • Preparing certain conveyancing in relation to real property and securities transactions such as mortgages and discharges of mortgages
  • Providing assistance to Conveyancers with complex real property and securities transactions
 
Essential Requirements:
  • Experience with property settlements or documents associated with property and financial settlements (strongly preferred but not essential)
  • Experience in performing administrative functions
  • Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritise and coordinate activities and meet deadlines
  • Experience in the use of computerised systems including database, spreadsheet and word processing software
  • Current valid NPC or ability to obtain one
