The Role
With demonstrated experience, the Procurement and Contract Management Officer will manage the procurement process for our client’s internal Refund Scheme which is currently underway.
Requirements:
- An experienced procurement and contract management officer to manage the procurement process, including the transitioning in and out of service providers.
- To ensure procurement processes and documentation are completed within agreed timeframes, are compliant with legislation, encourage quality, maximise value and manage risk.
- Provide contract management advice and assistance, including draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, partners, and other stakeholders, including ensuring terms align with company objectives and provide favourable conditions.
- Manage and maintain appropriate contract records and registers.
- Identify potential risks within procurements and contracts, including financial, operational, and reputational risks.
- Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with demonstrated skills and qualifications in procurement and contracts management.
- Experience transitioning in and out of service providers.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, negotiation and influencing skills, including ability to communicate to senior executive audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions.
To be eligible it is essential that applicants hold Australian Citizenship and hold a current Baseline Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a National Police Check.
