About the Role
As a Legal Administration Assistant within the Personal Injury team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support for up to three lawyers by helping to increase productivity through knowledge sharing and service improvement. The Personal Injury team specialises in complex medical negligence claims and CTP.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 
  • Ensuring that we are providing a professional and high standard of client service
  • Supporting the Partner with board meetings, reports and preparation
  • Preparation of documents, briefs, and correspondence
  • Liaising with clients directly when scheduling and assisting with queries
  • Assisting with billing and finance processes
  • Opening and closing matters, copying, archiving, e-filing and file management
  • Attend administration or team-specific team meetings
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the matters being worked on to help solicitors manage clients proactively
  • Setting up client meeting rooms, ad hoc administrative duties, and adherence to company policies and procedures 

About you

To be considered for this role, you will possess:
  • Minimum 5 years of administrative experience at a law firm
  • Previous legal administrative experience in Personal Injury
  • A high attention to detail and very good organisational skills
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills and proven ability to pick up new technology
  • Ability to learn quickly and manage competing priorities
  • Be resilient to change and enjoy a fast-paced environment
  • Exhibit excellent time management and communication skills 
  • A strong commitment to go above and beyond for clients
  • Confidence, proactivity and ‘can do’ approach
  • Previous experience using Affinity software is desirable
