Summary: A high-profile national government agency is seeking a motivated Financial Officer to join its team on a labour hire basis. This role is open to Australian Citizens with Baseline Security Clearances.

About the Role: 
We are currently seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join the finance team. The role involves a variety of key responsibilities, including:


  • Cash Management & Bank Reconciliations: Ensuring accurate management of funds and reconciliation of bank statements.
  • Month-End Journals & Reconciliations: Assisting with the preparation of month-end journals and reconciliations.
  • FBT & BAS Preparation: Supporting the preparation of Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns and Business Activity Statements (BAS).
  • Mailbox Management: Efficiently managing incoming communications.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Handling accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Credit Card Management: Overseeing the organisation’s credit card transactions.
  • Expense & Travel Support: Providing assistance with expenses and travel-related inquiries.
Education & Experience: While prior experience in a finance function is preferred, we welcome applicants who demonstrate relevant experience and/or qualifications in finance or accounting.
