The Opportunity 

On behalf of a large Federal Government Agency, we are looking for experienced Project Manager's to join the IT Transformation Team on a 12 month daily rate contract based in Richmond or Geelong, hybrid work arrangements. 

The team develops and implements ICT solutions to reduce fraud and combat non-compliance. The EL1 Project Manager will coordinate and resume responsibility of projects that impact strategic and operational objectives. 

Responsibilities include:
  • Develop, manage, and implement project plans and schedules, adhering to the project management framework.
  • Contribute to project design, governance, and integration, ensuring seamless operational alignment.
  • Oversee project deliverables, budgets, and timelines, meeting milestones and ensuring on-time completion.
  • Conduct research, evaluations, and reporting to stakeholders on project status, risks, and exceptions.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, manage budgets, procurement, and monitor project performance for quality and client satisfaction.
Key skills required for roles:
  • Proven experience of 5+ years in establishing and managing the delivery of technical ICT system delivery projects.
  • Recent experience in, and strong knowledge of, contemporary project management and governance frameworks and methodologies.
  • Experience in Project Management in Federal or State Government environments.
  • Experience delivering ICT projects using Agile frameworks.
Desirable skills to have for the roles:
  • Comfortable with new ways of thinking about accessibility and enthusiastic about accessible design & development will be highly regarded.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications; and an industry recognised qualification in project management, such as Diploma of Project Management.
