A high-profile national government agency is seeking an experienced General Accountant to join its team on a labour hire basis. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare annual financial statements in line with government standards
- Draft technical accounting position papers
- Manage monthly and yearly financial reporting through the CBMS platform
- Coordinate external audit processes and liaise with auditors
- Contribute financial reporting content to the agency’s annual report

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Effective stakeholder engagement experience
- Excellent judgement and initiative
- Outstanding organisational and planning abilities
- Degree qualifications in accounting
- CPA membership (mandatory)
- Baseline Clearance required
- Demonstrated experience in technical accounting and financial reporting, ideally within the public sector
