Job Title: Claims Consultant

Location: Southbank, Melbourne, VIC

Employment Type: Full-Time

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM


About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Claims Consultant to join our Melbourne-based call centre team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and processing insurance claims efficiently and empathetically over the phone, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with strong communication and customer service skills to make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to manage end-to-end claims processing in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Assess and investigate claims to determine validity and appropriate outcomes.
  • Communicate with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders to provide updates and resolve queries.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation and data entry of claims information.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve complex claims and deliver exceptional service.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and fraudulent activities.
  • Stay updated with industry regulations and company guidelines.
About You:
  • Previous experience in claims management or call centre roles within the insurance industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
  • Excellent customer service abilities with a compassionate and professional approach.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume call centre environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and claims management systems.
  • A customer-first mindset with a focus on providing positive client experiences.
