Job description

  • Locations considered: Brisbane and Adelaide
  • 12-month assignment
  • $602.55 per day plus super
 Our Federal Government client is seeking candidates with relevant experience in shaping policy, and design and implementing important reforms within the Partners, Providers, and Home and Living Group. As an Assistant Director, Policy you may work on designing system navigation, supporting coordination and streamlining policy and process, innovating home and living supports, home and living policy reform and provide guidance on co-design initiatives and trials.
 
About you
In order to be successful in this role, you will have the ability to plan and deliver work within a complex policy, service and stakeholder environment. In addition, you will demonstrate the following:
  • Policy and team leadership experience
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Collaborative approach, working well in teams and with limited direction
  • Experience developing and interpreting policy, analysing data and information, preparing and reviewing policy papers, reports, presentations, briefings and correspondence.
  • Relevant tertiary education
Candidates with an understanding and experience relating to the disability sector and market will be considered favorably.
