Are you an organised and detail-oriented professional with experience in property and facilities management? Join a dynamic government entity as an APS5 Property Officer in Canberra, where you’ll play a key role in coordinating property services and supporting corporate operations. This role will be working for a Federal Government Agency who supports the well being of the elderly community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the local contact for national property and facilities services, including office maintenance, workspace utilisation, security pass management, and fleet coordination.
- Provide site support for corporate services such as stationery, mail, CabCharge, and assistance to Finance, People & Culture, and ICT teams.
- Liaise with the outsourced Property Services Provider (Evolve FM) to ensure smooth property and facility operations.
- Draft property-related communications, reports, and bulletins.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate as an appointed Emergency Warden (Workplace Responsibility Allowance applies).
- Experience in a similar role or field
- Exceptional stakeholder management experience
- Demonstrated ability to work within a governnance framework
- Must be an Australian Citizen and hold a current Baseline Clearance.
You will be rewarded with a minimum 3 month contract with the possibility of extension as well as a attractive hourly rate.
