Senior Project Officer – Procurement (Level 6) – 3-Month Contract (Possible Extension)
Location: Perth, WA
Salary: $116,000 – $130,000 per annum (Level 6) or hourly rate (labour hire option available)
Contract: Until May 2025 (Initial 3-Month Engagement with Possible Extension)
Start Date: Mid-February
About the Role An opportunity is available for an experienced Procurement Specialist to contribute to a State Government project focused on Community and Human Services procurement. This is a senior-level position dedicated to procurement activities rather than broader project management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing tender documentation for a Community Service Provider and Community Housing Organisation.
  • Support the evaluation process and subsequent contract negotiations.
  • Track and report on tender and evaluation milestones against the project schedule.
  • Liaise with Major Projects and Community Services Procurement teams.
Selection Criteria:
  • Procurement experience within Community and/or Human Services.
  • Knowledge of State Government procurement frameworks and processes.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively engage with stakeholders and communicate project updates.
Employment Details:
  • Two engagement options are available:
    • Fixed-Term Contract (Level 6): $116,000–$130,000 p.a. depending on experience.
    • Labour Hire (Hourly Rate with Casual Loading): Discussed at interview based on preference.
