The Organisation:

This Government body works with people with disability, providers, and the community to deliver nationally consistent, responsive, and effective regulation of service providers. They seek to uphold the rights of, and promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of people with disability receiving supports or services.

The Role:
 
As an APS6 Finance Officer, you will play a key role in sourcing and procuring services and equipment to support staff with disability in the workplace. You will engage with external suppliers, manage accounts payable, and ensure compliance with financial policies and procurement regulations.
 
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Financial management, including procurement, purchasing, acquittals & accruals
  • Ensuring quality assurance, governance, and timely delivery of goods & services
  • Contract management, budgeting, and financial reporting
  • Stakeholder engagement and collaboration across teams
  • Ensuring compliance with procurement rules and policies
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following
  • Accounts payable
  • Procuring goods and services
  • Stakeholder engagement
  • Contract management
  • Finance systems
