Governance Project Officer – Exciting Temp Opportunity
DFP Recruitment Perth is seeking a highly motivated Governance Project Officer for a key government project. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to an organisation-wide initiative while enhancing your skills in information governance and management.
About the Role:
  • Position: Governance Project Officer (Information Asset Register)
  • Location: Perth CBD (occasional travel to metropolitan and regional offices may be required)
  • Duration: 6-month temp contract (starting 10 February 2025 – ending 8 August 2025)
  • Hourly Rate: $58–$61 per hour + super (casual loading included; no leave entitlements)
  • Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in compiling and documenting an organisation-wide information asset register.
  • Work closely with stakeholders and information owners to identify and classify information assets.
  • Focus on high-value assets and those presenting security or privacy risks.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical abilities.
  • Experience in Information Management, Governance, or data-related environments.
  • A current driver’s licence.
  • Candidates with Information Management or Library backgrounds (non-ICT) are encouraged to apply.
