Full Stack Developer

Contract Till 30 June 2025
Daily Rate: $850 – $950 PD + super
Location – Sydney
 
DFP Recruitment is seeking a Full Stack Developer for one of our State government Client. The developer provides sound, technical and professional advice, and actively contributes to development, planning, system documentation and reporting. 
 
Primary purpose of the role
 
Analysis / Investigation
  • Understand the business requirements that are captured as User stories and seek clarification if required
  • Work with the development team and solution architect to determine the most suitable solution
  • Provide estimates on the development of user stories in the backlog
 
Development
  • Develop, maintain and enhance the source code for the Project
  • Contribute to the review and improvement of the development process
  • Ensure that Continuous Integration practices like build, test and deploy are followed
 
Testing
  • Contribute to unit, integration, performance and functional testing
  • Record issues/bugs identified through the testing process
 
Skills Required
 
  • Collaboration, contribution, ownership, accountability, negotiation, problem solving skills, simple sustainable solutions and helping each other
  • Proven experience developing throughout the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • 5 years of front-end development experience as a minimum. Experience with:
    • modern front-end frameworks preferably VueJS
    • web front-end technologies including CSS, Javascript, Typescript, and modern javascript frameworks
  • IT Application Development experience with applications as minimum.
    • Preferable experience developing applications in OpenShift and SpringBoot
  • Cloud development experience would be an advantage
  • Understanding of Agile principles and the associated methods
  • Understanding of Test-Driven Design (TDD) with unit, integration, performance and functional testing
  • Strong written, verbal, customer service and analytical skills are required
