Job Title: Change/Training Lead
Employer: DFP Recruitment Client
Position Type: 12 month Full Time Casual Temporary Contract (40 hours per week)
Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rate + Super
Location: Fremantle, WA 6160

This position supports the client to implement a new Human Resource Management System including HR/ Payroll and Workforce Management Modules. The position will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of the 1HRMS Change Management Strategy including communications and engagement strategy and overseeing and coordinating training initiatives including the development of support materials. The Change/ Training Lead will run all change, training and communications within the project working collaboratively with the 1HRMS management and project team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implementing a comprehensive change management strategy aligned with the project’s objectives, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Collaborating with the project team and business stakeholders to align change initiatives with project delivery timelines.
  • Assessing organisational readiness for change across all areas of the Department and identifying potential barriers to adoption.
  • Designing and delivering tailored training plans to ensure users are equipped to leverage the new systems effectively.
  • Coordinating and facilitating training sessions, workshops, and hands-on learning activities across all impacted areas to maximise user adoption.
  • Collaborating with the project team and SMEs to ensure training content reflects system functionality and business processes.
  • Managing the projects communication channels to ensure consistent, timely, and accurate messaging throughout the implementation.
  • Developing clear, engaging communication and training materials such as Communities Intranet updates, Project SharePoint Site Information, FAQs, QRG’s and User Guides.
  • Lead and manage development of change responses, training, workforce, and business readiness activities relating to the new business processes, system changes and solution related changes.
  • Working with the project team to ensure alignment between the technical implementation and user needs.
  • Supporting UAT and rollout phases, ensuring users are adequately prepared for the transition.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of change activities, adjusting approaches as needed to enhance adoption and minimise resistance.
 
 
Essential to be successful in the role:
  • Proven experience in delivering large-scale organisational change programs in complex multi-disciplinary environments.
  • Strong understanding of change management methodologies and frameworks with formal change management or training qualifications (PROSCI or equivalent).
  • Experience in technology-enabled business transformation ideally SAP SuccessFactors and or Workforce Software.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and build trusted relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication experience
  • Well-developed planning and organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Current valid NPC or ability to obtain one
