Job description

Job Title: Business Services Officer
Employer: Main Roads
Position Type: 3 month Full Time Casual Temporary Contract
Pay Rate: $45 + Super
Location: Northam, WA 6401

Key Responsibilities;
- Managing diary and travel arrangements
- Organising maintenance of office equipment
- Organising Purchase Orders for goods and services
- Undertaking financial tasks including processing and data entry of Corporate Credit Cards; and processing and maintaining timely payments of accounts and receipts, petty cash reconciliation.
- Providing accurate records management functions – creating and maintaining files, following up overdue actions, creating file structures; conducting searches of archive and record retrieval; providing support to region staff in searching TRIM records
- Reception functions – switchboard and front counter enquiries, and handling/distributing mail correspondence.
- Assisting staff with computer troubleshooting and IT equipment
- Miscellaneous admin duties

Essential to be successful in this role:
- Time management – organisation and ability to meet deadlines.
- Business and administrative processes and practices, including procurement.
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Computer literate, i.e., Microsoft package
- Record keeping
- Current valid NPC or ability to obtain one
- Valid WA 'C' class Drivers License
