Job description

Our Federal Government client has a great opportunity for an APS6 Partnerships Lead – Community Engagement Officer.  The team identify and deliver mutually beneficial initiatives aligned to the Agency.
 
Responsibilities will include: 
  • Maintain up-to-date stakeholder assessment and contact list for national and jurisdictional consumer peaks
  • Emphasise vulnerable population groups in stakeholder profiles
  • Analyse shared value policy positions between Agency and consumer peaks.
  • Foster engagement and collaboration opportunities between Agency and consumer peaks.
  • Regularly engage consumer peaks on Agency activities.
  • Establish and manage consumer peak contracts to influence digital health policy.
  • Support Agency sections and divisions in delivering on National Digital Health Strategy.
  • Periodically map strategic consumer peak risks and opportunities for broader engagement.
  • Facilitate distribution of Agency products and services updates and social media articles to consumer peaks.
  • Establish regular consumer peak Agency forum.
  • Advocate for Agency areas, connecting them with relevant consumer peaks.
  • Ensure consumer peaks' representation in strategic Agency engagement activities for person-centred care.
About You
 
You will possess demonstrated experience in relationship management, project management and contract management experience, the ability to work with a high degree of autonomy, as well as adapt and work across a diverse range of stakeholders will be key to your success.
 
In addition, you will bring: 
  • 3+ years’ experience in a stakeholder/ relationship management role within government, private health sector and/or health IT sector
  • Highly developed conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent verbal communication and public speaking skills.
  • Highly developed written communication skills with the ability to prepare concise briefings on complex issues.
 
This role will see you part of a dynamic agency where you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise and knowledge. This role is to commence ASAP for initially 6 months, with extensions.
