Graduates with Disability

DFP values the skills and potential of graduates living with disability who are seeking to take the next steps in their career after study and may be considering graduate or entry level roles.

As Disability Confident Recruiters all DFP staff are committed to supporting our candidates living with disability to participate equitably throughout the recruitment process so they can perform at their best. We welcome and encourage graduates to apply for our opportunities and speak to us about how we can support you with adjustments in our recruitment process at any stage by contacting us below at: adjustments@dfp.com.au  or  1300 337 000

Graduate Programs – Applying for Success

As the first organisation in Australia to be accredited as a Disability Confident Recruiter by the Australian Network on Disability, DFP has significant experience supporting graduates and students with disability through the recruitment process. This experience ensures we have expert knowledge to support our graduates with disability in understanding and navigating the graduate application process.

We understand that applying for graduate programs can be a daunting time. You may have questions about how to achieve your best and how to feel confident to discuss adjustments you need throughout the process if you decide to share your disability.

To support students with disability to prepare and apply for graduate opportunities, DFP has developed an online session designed just for you to help demystify the graduate recruitment process. This 1-hour session is available to any tertiary students or graduates living with disability. Our session provides a welcoming environment for graduates to learn more about the application process and how to prepare for success. During the session you will hear about:

  • Understanding the steps in a formal graduate application process

  • Discussing practical examples of tasks you may be asked to complete at different stages

  • Building confidence to share your disability and discuss any adjustments you need
