  • APS6 - $60.26 per hour + super
  • EL1 - $602.55 per day + super
  • Hybrid work arrangement
Our esteemed client is seeking APS6 and EL1 Finance Business Partners to join their dynamic team in Surry Hills. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing team of talented individuals.
  
As an APS6 Finance Officer responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Responsibilities include intricate problem-solving, strategic planning, program and project management, and policy development.
  • Analyzing and interpreting statistical reports to inform work plans and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure timely project implementation.
  • Coordinating and providing cost estimates for system change requests.
  • Developing various correspondences for stakeholders, including financial reports and ministerial submissions.
  • Managing quality assurance activities and coordinating quality audits.
  • Conducting detailed financial analysis and overseeing financial administration across projects.
 Key Skills Required for APS6: 
  • Qualified Accountant with 3-5 years of accounting experience.
  • Proficient in end-of-month accruals preparation, financial reporting, and analysis.
  • Experience in budget preparation, monitoring, and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and resolve stakeholder issues..
 As an EL1 Finance Business Partnering responsibilities may include but are not limited to: 
  • Leading external budget and reporting activities.
  • Liaising with stakeholders and negotiating on budget-related matters.
  • Developing team operating procedures and delivering financial projects.
  • Providing strategic financial advice and managing costing models.
  • Maintaining project governance processes and driving improvements.
 Key Skills Required for EL1: 
  • Familiarity with project reporting concepts.
  • Proficiency in SAP system and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
