Technical Lead - Workforce Identity and Access Management
  • 18-months contract with possible extension
  • ACT, QLD, VIC
  • Must be able to obtain Negative Vetting Level 1
 
DFP Recruitment is seeking an experienced principal Technical Lead -  Workforce Identity and Access Management  to join our Federal Government Client team. 
Role responsibilities
  • Being directly responsible for the delivery and overseeing of complex and highly technical Identity and Cybersecurity workloads and projects.
  • Being a technical leader among Workforce Identity Engineers, leading by example in delivery of Identity outcomes and projects, and working with the Assistant Director to plan technical deliverables and priorities for the team.
  • Applying skills within Microsoft Entra ID domains, including user lifecycles, access packages, Privileged Identity Management, and Conditional Access.
  • Applying skills within development, including infrastructure-as-code, code release pipelines, Graph API, and automations.
  • Delivering high quality designs and solution architectures that are fit for business purpose, align with business requirements, and contribute to key strategic objectives such as Zero Trust.
Skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting secure Identity and Access Management solutions in Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Microsoft-focused development and automation tools, including Graph API, PowerShell, and Automations and Runbooks.
  • Demonstrated understanding or experience migrating or disconnecting from legacy on-prem Identity solutions and moving to Cloud-First solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and advocate for Identity and Security priorities with business stakeholders, in the form of presentations, designs, and other methodologies.
