The Role


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Key Account Manager to act as the daily interface between our client and their customers. You will be responsible for managing and developing long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring all service expectations, KPIs, and targets are met. This role requires a proactive individual who can identify new business opportunities, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive profitable growth within their client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of key clients, delivering exceptional service.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and in-person meetings.
  • Handle customer escalations and troubleshoot issues to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to onboard new clients and ensure a seamless transition.
  • Monitor client volumes, profitability, and performance against KPIs.
  • Prepare and present customer reports, KPI data, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving strategies within supply chains.
  • Manage invoice disputes, detention queries, and ensure prompt resolution within company timelines.
  • Educate customers on software solutions such as OneTrack and provide training when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and internal policies.
  • Actively contribute to team meetings, sales workshops, and business development initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in account management, customer service, or a similar role within the logistics/supply chain industry.
  • Strong understanding of incoterms, Australian Customs regulations, and documentation requirements.
  • Ability to analyze market intelligence, rate levels, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
