Business Support Officer (Healthcare & Research) – Contract Role

📍 Location: Nedlands
Contract: 6 months (with potential extension)
💰 Hourly Rate: $43.75 - $50.00 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading)
🕘 Hours: 76 hours per fortnight (Monday – Friday, flexible start/finish times
🚗 Parking: On-site, paid parking (availability not guaranteed)

About the Role We’re seeking an experienced Business Support Officer to join a dynamic healthcare and research environment. This role is perfect for an administrative professional with financial experience who thrives in a fast-paced setting.
As part of a dedicated team, you’ll provide essential business, financial, and administrative support for clinical research activities, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
✔️ Support financial administration, including accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, reconciliations, and reporting
✔️ Assist with HR processing, contracts, and payroll-related documentation
✔️ Maintain accurate records, collate data, and generate financial and management reports
✔️ Liaise with finance, procurement, and HR teams to support business operations
✔️ Ensure compliance with policies, financial frameworks, and reporting standards

About You
🔹 Strong experience in business administration, finance, or accounting support
🔹 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and financial systems (Oracle preferred)
🔹 Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organisational skills
🔹 Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal stakeholders
🔹 Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently in a structured environment
