Job description

Our client, a State Government department is seeking an experienced Administrator to undertake a support role in their resolution team. This AO3 contract role will be located at their head office in West End and will commence ASAP.
 
In this role you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
 
  • Provide assistance and administrative support to the team
  • Drafting and reviewing written correspondence
  • Sending and responding to emails
  • Arranging and engaging external specialists
  • Maintaining the information held in their database including ongoing review
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as required
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
 
To be successful in this role you must:
 
  1. Ability to multi-task and prioritise while demonstrating attention to detail
  2. Process, use and gather information contained within computerised knowledge bases and other data
  3. Ability to use multiple software programs, including sound skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
  4. Achieve team goals through participation as a member of a team
  5. Use of effective communication and interpersonal skills in the workplace, including sound written communication skills
 
Effective communication and the ability to build positive working relationships with relevant stakeholders will be critical to your success in this role.   You will need to be flexible to work changes and shifting priorities and have the ability to identify any issues that could impact on designated tasks.
 
The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential; as is your ability to use your initiative in prioritising your work to ensure objectives are met.
