Inclusive Workplace Environments with Neurodiversity in Mind
Inclusive Workplace Environments with Neurodiversity in Mind
Fostering Workplace Environments that Welcome Neurodiversity through Inclusive Practice
It is estimated that 15-20% of the population is neurodiverse, which can impact how individuals operate both at home and in the workplace. To create inclusive and productive workplaces, organisations can look to create an environment that enables every employee to flourish. With this means recognising the individual nuance and dynamic interplay between an individual and their role and practicing strategies that support individuals to feel welcome, particularly those who are neurodivergent.
This immersive workshop aims to:
• Introduce a definition of what it means to be neurodivergent and examples of neurodiversity
• Explore the benefits of neurodiversity in the workplace and in your team
• Discuss considerations for supporting individuals who are neurodivergent in the workplace
• Develop strategies to lead an inclusive workplace that welcomes neurodiversity
The interactive session welcomes decision makers and leaders to develop their understanding of neurodiversity and explore strategies that can be applied in their workplaces.
