Kate Coath was appointed to the role of Chief Executive Officer in February 2022 and follows her successful tenure as DFP’s Chief Operating Officer since 2010.

With over 25 years in the recruitment industry, Kate has held a variety of executive roles including General Manager of Network Recruitment Services. When it was sold to DFP in 2005, Kate managed the seamless integration of the two businesses which preceded her appointment to General Manager of DFP in 2007.

At DFP, Kate has led the operational integration of acquired businesses and introduced our national service delivery model. Her background in operational leadership has delivered innovative and flexible recruitment solutions that deliver enduring value for DFP clients. She has been instrumental in strengthening DFP’s reputation and market share in key target sectors, and led the DFP team in securing and managing the relationships, rollout, integration and compliance frameworks for national recruitment contracts in the government, utilities, resources and insurance sectors.

Kate is proud to lead the highly effective, long-term Executive and Leadership teams at DFP. She leads a dynamic and cohesive team that approaches recruitment with a sense of optimism and works with our clients to build long-term partnerships.

Kate’s strategic approach and proactive decision-making has been influential in building DFP’S resilience and ability to adapt to changing market conditions.

As CEO, Kate will continue to shape DFP’s business to drive new offerings, create initiatives that optimise staff performance and support operational excellence, and further enhancements to the DFP culture that continue to make it a great place to work.

Kate is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds a Graduate Diploma in Industrial and Employee Relations and Bachelor of Economics, both from Monash University.
